When you see this dream start from nothing...

"...when I got in the game back in 94, you know I wanted to wear a suit. As soon as I get me some money, and the way I was brought up was to go buy the best suit you could buy. That was like my rope chain..."

This is why he's one of the best at what he does. His devotion to be great is insatiable. This was a good step into the world he has created and why it continues to strive. "Are we playing to win or are we just playing to stay in the game." Click on the video to see the whole show.

So Fre$h so Proper

I made a short post about this brand yesterday, probably one of the better concepts to come out in a long while. It's time for this whole market to tighten up, throw on a crisp pair of slacks and button ups, even a tie. This is a synapse of what Fresh & Proper is all about. It's what we've been preaching for the last two years. Hiroshi is always ahead of his time - and I am starting to think so are we. Look for Fre$h & Proper - spring 09'. And the key logo is mine!!! Ask around if you didn't already know! Check the interview out here..

Two of the best.

The illest period.

Apple Music

There's some interesting facts in this article, such as Apple is the largest seller of music in the county - they are on track to sell more music and accessories than the estimated revenue of the Warner Music Group. These "accessories" all add to their bottom line, selling more computers. Yes a lil short than genius - doing what they want to do, Mr. Jobs is definitely on his J-O-B. Check it out.

The best Brand this Year.

The power of branding in this Presidential cycle has been quite evident. Yet no candidate perhaps in history has been able to grasp the attention of America's post baby boomers in the way Obama's campaign has. Through hiring Facebook founders to setting up a viral grass-roots campaign, the Obama camp knows exactly how to approach a generation tired of the old body politic. As major industries shift to understand this new generation, Obama has found a way to tap into our networks meeting us on common ground. The power of being able to reach our generation so well at every turn speaks to the understanding his campaign has of what's next. And for businesses trying to understand how to do this - who better to step to than the best. Not to mention his ability to raise the amount of money he has every month, when we are supposedly in a slight recession. Fast Company's April issue feature's an article on Obama that discusses the idea of branding in depth and it's definitely worth checking out.
