Basically Bespoke means to "be spoken for" in this particular instance the word originated from gentleman reserving certain types of cloth for their shirts, suits and ties to be made out of. Once spoken for your measurements are taken and they create a "pattern" meaning a specifically measured garment be it shirt or suit to your exact specifications.
