I had the pleasure of dining at this fine establishment after this last trip to New York. I'm not sure about the barbershop, but the clothing looked like it was tailored to perfection and the restaurant - yes restaurant was on point as well. More pictures coming soon.

Colette Closed for Construction

Sarah of the now famous Colette store in Paris, has shut down shop for a bit to allow for some reorganization. The store is currently undergoing renovation to invigorate some new spirit and allow for some re-merchandising. Sarah has become almost genius at reinvention, she is constantly searching, forming and allowing the colette space to grow and mold itself into the amazing retail space it has become to do. They have also announced news of a few new mini store pop ups throughout the globe. For more info check out the fine folks over @ Highsnobiety.

Obama Rolling Stones Cover

A year ago as Barack Obama was beginning the democratic primary process I wrote an article about the people behind his Presidential campaign, people I felt were going to be the difference between him and Hillary. Your only as good as the pieces around you and Obama picked one of the best teams in the history of Presidential races. The Rolling Stones article reaffirms those prediction's from almost a year ago to date and as this process continues Obama's "team" will be the difference between who wins and loses. The kids and I threw a little shindig before they left for their European jaunt. It was good times great oldies, a lot of good people came out, and a lot of people drank 40's until they got kicked out. Everybody ripped it, definitely a night to remember. Thanks to Vapors and Dub Frequency for jumping down, and last but not least Empire for holding us down.

So many people wanted a piece of Apple today that their servers were overloaded - and many customers were left without activation of their new I phones. It's amazing how one of the best technology companies in the world didn't prepare for a situation like this.

Yo the kids are in the UK right now. Things have been craze - I get a text from Chuck every other day with some of the most absurd stories I've ever heard. Check em out.

Push/Pull

It's on - I admit it, it's trendy as ever right now to be riding a fixed gear. But to completely honest, I feel like it makes you a better biker. You don't have any options to fuck up, or its a wrap. When you can't slow down what do you do, get smarter real quick. My boy Ben from Push/Pull (Thebrilliance.com) put me on, and gave me the advice. I ended up copping a Bianchi Pista - I must say its been an amazing ride.

Funny story, I called Chuck yesterday expecting to get his voicemail. Awkwardly enough he answered the phone. He was in London - international sim cards are a must. Here's some footy from overseas - and don't forget to pick up the mixtape that dropped today.

My boy Virgil - ahem - V.A.A.L.L.C was in Paris for men's fashion week gallivanting around with his camera in tow. He flicked some good flicks, and had a little story to tell about his experience. Check it out.

Over the past few seasons Frida Gianni and Gucci have become consistently one of the best fashion houses in the world. Classic Italian silhouettes have been there strength, with the color palette adding a particular degree of depth to each collection. However the practicality of what they have presented is the most attractive. Paying attention to the best fashion houses in the world over the past few years will lead one to question the wear ability of certain pieces let alone whole collections. It is with this consistency of real world application that Gucci has refined its role in menswear, and if we must add done it quite well.
