Timeless Gucci

Can we talk about Gucci for a second, how their men's runway "cruise" and "spring/summer" were amazing. I mean look at the color palette, how its just enough color in the right places. Look at the cuts - reminds you of good classic Italian fitting. If they only put people of color in these shows, how that palette would pop off of darker tones. You can probably imagine yourself wearing this suit in Miami, or walking around in the south of France somewhere perusing with your Parisian girlfriend.

Although the review from Style.com wasn't the best you still can't take away from the vision of what Mr. Combs was trying to accomplish. If you look through the slide show you will definitely see a few pieces (such as the jacket above) that you would put into your collection today. The simple fact that the whole cast of the show was black or a shade of black was unheard of - perhaps the critic doesn't understand what its like to be a King. Check it out.

I made a short post about this brand yesterday, probably one of the better concepts to come out in a long while. It's time for this whole market to tighten up, throw on a crisp pair of slacks and button ups, even a tie. This is a synapse of what Fresh & Proper is all about.
