Habits determine your habitat.

I came across this book today, looks pretty interesting and might be something worth picking up. Im not normally one for self help books but as of late they have been pretty popular and anything that can make you better I am full support of. Sometimes you need constructs or systems to allow to become better at whatever you do. Whether that's writing a track, or planning a global marketing plan - its not so much what you do, but how you do it. Peep.

Fresh from the tailor!!

Just to touch a little bit more on the art of Bespoke tailoring, here goes a video made by Turnbull & Asser - one of those companies that have been on London's Saville Row for centuries. Basically Bespoke means to "be spoken for" in this particular instance the word originated from gentleman reserving certain types of cloth for their shirts, suits and ties to be made out of. Once spoken for your measurements are taken and they create a "pattern" meaning a specifically measured garment be it shirt or suit to your exact specifications. There is nothing more proper in the world then to have a suit made specifically for you out of the finest cloth money can by. Check the video for a little more insight into the world of Bespoke tailoring.

Rugby Keeping it Fresh & Proper.

Polo Rugby, Ralph Lauren's collegiate "affordable" collection does a monthly Around The Corner video segment on their website. Employees from the store, check out the cities where various Rugby's are located. Last month they featured New York & surprisingly went to Frank's Chop Shop - they also featured Boston, where they ended up at Bodega for a highlight. I thought it was interesting, they ended up at places that are totally opposite of what the prep school frat boys and sorority girls of Rugby represent. I wonder what chuckle head will be showing us around Chicago. Check it out for yourself.

Sleep is for Crack Heads

Freedom is the FUTURE!

This is something me and my roommate Nelson (Cool Kids Mngmnt) have been talking about for a while in regards to the new format of the music business, and how the internet has helped to allow this "freedom" to happen. The article doesn't really speak on the free concept in correlation to music, yet how the technology has allowed for this "freedom" to happen. Its a really interesting concept and something you should check out if you know what's good for you.
